Created to establish partnerships between schools and local community resources to provide literacy, academic enrichment and safe constructive alternatives for K-9
The current funding level for the ASES program is $550 million

Shared Space
TVES shares with Playschool
Limits available space in the classroom, 1/3
Restricts areas and actual use of the room
Eliminates working during playschool hours
HES shares with special class
Lessens privacy and security of student belongings
Restricts certain projects
Limits working during school day hours
Adds to the set-up/clean-up time
Both sites still have 1 position open
Work hours pose problems for currently working employees and unemployed applicants
