Literacy Paraprofessional Certification Exam

What is the Exam?
The
Literacy Paraprofessional Exam, is now offered in the Personnel Department at the District Office on
Thursdays by appointment, throughout the year. The test consists of high school level
reading, writing, and math. Study materials may be obtained at the
Humboldt County Library, just ask for the paraprofessional exam study
materials. You may also come into the KTJUSD personnel office to look at the tutorial.
Anyone wishing to be employed as a Literacy Paraprofessional or Instructional Assistant for KTJUSD must first pass this exam.
Seating
is limited, so advance registration is required. To reserve a space,
contact Ginger in the Personnel Department at
(530)-625-5600 EXT. 1006. Test results will be mailed within a week of the test date.
